Steps to meeting country folks...
Somehow I think I will have to get used to this because daddy says that’s how people in the country meet for the first time. Before you say anything or shake hands, first you must meet the approval of my 20 gauge shot gun named Mary Anne and if she likes you then I guess you’re ok…
Step two...
Third and finally...

My favorite part of the day...
My first doctor visit!!!
Thanks to my uncle Gil, auntie Sabrina, and cousin Diego I got this awsome car seat that Diego used to have back in the day. Ummm I think I have plenty time to grow into this one... Hard to believe my big cousin used to fit in this. We used this today for my first doctor visit. As you can see I am not that excited to see the doctor, unless it's my Grandfather Dr.Molina
One and two and three...
Big cousin Diego...
Massss Destruction
Daddy was going through his camera and noticed someone borrowed it for a second to take this picture. Daddy looked at me and said he was thankful for a girl because it looks like guys just love to knock things down and leave things laying around like a tornado came through. Man is he in for a big surprise.

I think someone is jealous...
Just like cooper our dog, I love having my belly rubbed too!!
As you can see I am so small my hat doesn't even fit!!! Daddy kept saying the newborn sizes are not the same size as Filipino newborn sizes and we needed to go ahead and get some preemie clothes just in case... No one listened to those wise words of wisdom so maw maw and paw paw were nice enough to go out and find some outfits that fit a little better...
My first blog...
During 3 days of being in the hospital, daddy somehow forgot to take pictures to start this blog off right. Others are supposed to send pics so he can post them on this but for now we will just have to use the few pics that we took on mom's camera. I waited for the perfect day to play my first joke on mommy and daddy to spring them with the surprise of me making my interesting arrival to the outside world. My expected arrival was supposed to be august 4th but I had other plans... I waited for the perfect time when mommy finally left town and daddy was on his way to work with a dead cell phone. Mommy wanted to stay with my maw maw and paw paw (that's country for grandmother and grandfather) because cooper the family dog was sick. As soon as mommy kissed daddy good bye for his 50 minute drive to work and I saw him drive off, I broke mommies water!!! The great thing was that dad's cell phone was dead and she couldn't call him to make him turn around and pick us back up. Finally daddy charged his phone up enough to hear all the messages and he zoomed to the apartment only to realize he never packed up the famous "hospital bag" all parents are supposed to have near the door when they have to make the quick get a way to the hospital. Daddy doesn't remember to much during this panic attack but he does remember the sister in law Sabrina saying something about that she knew me and I better not start drinking anything...
Well I guess that reminded daddy of the beer in the fridge so he picked up the luggage in one hand and a well deserved beer in the other. Finally everyone made it to the hospital about 11 am. After about 8 gallons of IV patosin to force me out I held out as long as I could. Dr. Edwards came into the room about 11:15 that night and said mommy hasn't dilated much and my heart rate keeps dropping so we needed to do an emergency C-section. The thought of a scalpel coming towards me and mommy made me decide to quit playing around and come out in a hurry!!! About thirty minutes later right before midnight I got to see Mommy, Daddy, Maw Maw Trudale, and their best friend Ashley Ratliff in the delivery room...
Daddy was becoming extremely angry because not only did he spend most his days working at the hospital but now he had to spend his days off laying around in the same hospital... Well I didn't care if he was sick of the place or not, I wasn't going anywhere until I had a nice tan under those cool lights in the nursery...
